How many people can fit inside the sauna?
Our sauna comfortably fits up to 5 adults.
What should I bring?
Just bring your swimsuit, a water bottle, and a towel! We provide towels for sitting on inside the sauna, but you’ll want your own for drying off. The easiest option? Show up in your sauna gear and be ready to relax.
Do you have to use the cold plunge?
No, you don’t have to use the cold plunge. Sometimes, stepping outside into the cool air (especially if it’s winter!) is sufficient for some people. Since the Finnish Sauna is high temperature that’s dry heat, many people love doing it with a quick cold plunge. Listen to your body!
Is there a place to change?
There are a couple of options for changing, depending on your setup. The mobile sauna trailer, which also can sit on site at Frog Hollow, has a changing room inside. We also have a really nice porta potty, and there also is a changing area outside of the cabin (sorry our cabin interior is closed during winter months)
Is sauna bathing safe? Do I need to sign a waiver?
Sauna bathing is safe for many people, but spending time in extreme heat or cold does come with some risks. Everyone must sign a waiver before entering the sauna. Listen to your body, take breaks, stay hydrated, and never push past your comfort zone!
What if I'm pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication?
Sauna heat isn’t right for everyone. If you’re pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication that could affect your response to heat or cold, check with your healthcare provider before participating. A little extra caution goes a long way!
Can I rent the sauna for my own event or property?
Absolutely! Whether you’re planning a backyard get-together, a family reunion, or a special event, we offer both attended private sauna experiences and drop-off rentals. Tell us a little about your plans, and we’ll help you find the right setup.

How far do you deliver?
We deliver within 30 miles of Thompson, Connecticut. Need the sauna for a longer-term rental or located a little farther out? Reach out! We’re happy to chat and see what we can work out.
Is there a place to change?
The mobile sauna trailer has a changing room inside if needed, but most people will use their own house.
What do I need for you to park the sauna on my property?
We need a clear path to your site and a relatively flat dry surface with enough room for our 16′ trailer. Driveways, gravel areas, and flat lawns can all work.
We need to consider low-hanging branches, tight turns, or anything else that might get in the way. A little advance planning makes for a much smoother arrival!
We will also ask for photos of the areas you are thinking.
Do you need access to electricity or water?
Nope! Our mobile sauna is self-contained, so no electrical or water hookups are needed.
One exception: If you’d like us to bring a cold plunge tank, we’ll need access to water (garden hose) to fill it.

We offer sauna rentals in our forest at Frog Hollow from November through March, or enjoy the mobile sauna on your property during the spring, summer, or fall months.
